Sound and Notification Settings
The sound and notification settings menu lets you control your phone’s audio, from ringtones and alerts to tap tones and notifications.
Sound and Notification Settings Overview
The sound and notification settings menu allows you to configure the following options:
Sound and Notification Setting | Description |

| Media volume | Adjust the volume level settings for the media. |
| Alarm volume | Adjust the volume level settings for the alarm. |
| Ring volume | Adjust the volume level settings for the ring volume. |
Notification volume | Adjust the volume level settings for the notification volume. |
Also vibrate for calls | Set your phone to ring and vibrate simultaneously. |
| Do not disturb | Configure the feature to prevent interruptions from calls and alerts. You can switch between Priority only, Alarms only, Total silence, or Vibrate. |
Phone ringtone | Assign a ringtone to your incoming calls. |
Vibration pattern | Assign the vibration pattern. |
Vibration intensity | Select your phone’s vibration intensity. |
Default notification ringtone | Select a sound for notifications. |
| Other sounds | Set your phone’s sound and notification tone feature with various options, such as Dial pad tones, Screen locking sounds, Hearing aids, Noise reduction, etc. |
| Cast | Connect your phone to the devices that support Miracast to share the displayed images via Wi-Fi connection. |
Pulse notification light | Turn the function on to enable a pulse notification light when receiving notifications. |
| Persistent alerts | Set alerts, such as beep, vibration, or reminder interval for notifications. |
When device is locked | Your phone is capable of showing the notifications on the screen when the phone is locked. |
| App notifications | You can modify the notification settings individually for apps. |
Notification access | You can control which apps have access to read your notifications. |
| Do Not Disturb access | You can control which apps have access to the Do not disturb feature. |

- From home, tap Apps > Settings .
- Tap Sound & notification .
- Set your sound and notification options.
